Additional policies & accreditation information
Effective 04/07/2025
As part of our CPD Provider registration and commitment to transparent, ethical practice, the following policies are publicly available for reference. These documents outline our procedures for learner support, feedback, data protection, and responsible delivery of educational content.
Appeals policy
At Neurospicy Sleep Institute™, we are committed to fairness and transparency in all assessment and certification decisions. If a learner wishes to appeal an outcome related to a CPD activity (e.g. quiz result, content access, or certification), they must submit their appeal in writing within 14 days of receiving the decision.
All appeals are reviewed within 10 working days by a team member not involved in the original assessment. The decision of that review is final. Reasonable adjustments will be made where appropriate.
Complaints policy
We aim to provide a high-quality learning experience for all participants. If a learner is dissatisfied with any part of a course or service, they are encouraged to submit a written complaint to hello@neurospicysleepinstitute.com.
Complaints are acknowledged within 3 working days and a resolution is usually provided within 10 working days. Investigations are carried out independently where possible, and every effort is made to ensure a fair, respectful outcome.
Course content review policy
All NSI educational content is reviewed at least once every 12 months to ensure accuracy, relevance, and scientific rigour. Interim updates may be made sooner if new research, clinical guidance, or user feedback suggests it is necessary.
We actively seek learner feedback to inform updates, and reflect real-world ADHD experiences, not just theory.
Data protection policy
NSI complies with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Only essential personal data is collected, and it is stored securely. We never share or sell data to third parties.
Learners may request access to their data, correct inaccuracies, or request deletion by emailing hello@neurospicysleepinstitute.com.
Equal opportunity charter
We are committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion across all areas of our work. NSI does not discriminate on the basis of age, gender, disability, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, or belief.
All digital courses are designed to be as accessible and inclusive as possible, and we offer reasonable adjustments where needed.
Malpractice policy
Any attempt to falsify participation, plagiarise content, or misrepresent identity will be treated seriously. Learners suspected of misconduct will be given an opportunity to respond. NSI reserves the right to revoke access or certification where malpractice is confirmed.
Appeals can be made under the Appeals Policy.
Reasonable adjustments policy
If a learner has a disability, mental health condition, or other accessibility need, NSI will make reasonable adjustments to ensure they can participate fully in any CPD activity.
Adjustments may include extended access, alternative formats, or tailored communication. Requests can be made in advance by contacting support@neurospicysleepinstitute.com.
Safeguarding learners
NSI does not currently offer services to children or vulnerable adults. However, we remain committed to upholding the safety and dignity of all learners. Any safeguarding concerns will be taken seriously and managed in line with best practice.
If services are extended to include vulnerable groups, a named safeguarding lead will be appointed and additional procedures implemented.
Evaluation form policy
Post-course evaluation is encouraged via feedback forms. These forms assess satisfaction, clarity, and outcomes, and are reviewed monthly to inform improvements.
Your feedback shapes future content.
Reflective practice form
All NSI toolkits include optional reflection points to help learners track progress, identify patterns, and apply strategies with intention.
While not mandatory, reflective practice is encouraged as a core part of behaviour change and learning retention.
Public liability insurance
NSI currently operates as a fully digital provider. If live or in-person events are introduced, appropriate public liability insurance will be obtained in line with UK legal requirements.
Responsible marketing
We never use fear, shame, or pressure in our messaging. Claims are backed by evidence, quotes are genuine or clearly marked as illustrative, and pricing reflects the true value of our expertise.
We believe in informed decisions, not manipulated ones.
